The 2020 International Conference on Radar, Antenna, Microwave, Electronics and Telecommunications (-) will be held in Serpong, Indonesia on November 19 - 20, 2020. The conference is an annual event organized by Research Center for Electronics and Telecommunications, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (PPET-LIPI) that aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, scholar students and practitioners interested in the advanced technologies of communication and electronics including Remote Sensing and Radar System, Antenna Devices and Techniques, RF and Microwave Theory and Devices, Electronics Materials, Devices and Components/Circuits, Wireless and Wired Communications, Signal and Image Processing Techniques, Computer and Networking, Control and Artificial Intelligence, Informatics and Data Processing, Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) Applications and related topics. The - provides a forum for exchange of information on the state-of-the art research within all of the related topics as well as aims to build and strengthen scientific cooperation among the research institutions. The - is as a part of Indonesian Science Expo (ISE) that is initiated by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). The 2020 - is also technically sponsored by IEEE Indonesian Chapter. Invited Speakers

Professor. Dr. Christope Fumeaux
University of Adelaide, Australia

Professor. Dr. Christope Fumeaux received the Diploma and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in 1992 and 1997, respectively.From 1998 to 2000, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the School of Optics, University of Central Florida, Orlando. In 2000, he joined the Swiss Federal Office of Metrology, Bern, Switzerland, as a Scientific Staff Member. From 2001 to 2008, he was a Research Associate and Lecturer with the Laboratory for Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Electronics at ETH Zurich. Since 2008, he has been with The University of Adelaide, Australia, where he is currently a Professor with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. His current main research interests concern antenna engineering, THz technology and the application of RF design principles to optical micro/nano-structures.Prof. Fumeaux was the recipient of the ETH Medal for his doctoral dissertation. From 2011 to 2015, he was a Future Fellow of the Australian Research Council. He was the recipient of the 2018 Edward E. Altshuler Prize, the 2014 IEEE Sensors Journal and the 2004 ACES Journal best paper awards. He also received best conference paper awards at the 2012 Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC 2012) and the 17th Colloque International sur la Compatibilité Electromagnétique (CEM 2014). More than ten of his students have received student awards with joint papers at IEEE conferences. He was the recipient of the University of Adelaide Stephen Cole the Elder Award for Excellence in Higher Degree by Research Supervisory Practice in 2018. He served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016 he served as a Senior Associate Editor and later as the Associate Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation. Since March 2017, he has been serving as the Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.

Prof. Dr. Shi Jinn Horng
National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

Shi-Jinn Horng (also known as Hsi-Chin Hung) received the B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from National Taiwan Institute of Technology, Taipei, the M.S. degree in Information Engineering from National Central University, Taiwan, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, in 1980, 1984, and 1989, respectively. He was the Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National United University, Taiwan. Currently, he is a Chair Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, NTUST. He was a Visiting Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008; Georgia State University in 2007; University of Dayton, Ohio, in 2000; National Mongolia University, in 2004; Southwest Jiaotong University, in 2004. He also worked as a PMTS at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1990 to 1991. His research interests include deep learning, biometric recognition, multi-medium, image processing, and Information Security. He has published more than 300 research papers and received many awards; especially, the Distinguished Research Award between 2004 and 2006 from the National Science Council in Taiwan.

Guideline for Paper Submission

All papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS (https://edas.info/N25830). All papers must be written in English and formatted following the IEEE Xplore standard (double-column format A4 size). Please download the template with various format using the following links. Failing to confirm the standard format will result in rejection.

  1. All papers must be submitted electronically through EDAS Conference papers submission system (https://edas.info/N25830). All regular and invited papers are limited to six (6) pages. Authors may upload longer manuscript up to a maximum of eight (8) pages total. However, each page in excess of six will incur an additional charge of 100 USD. Our EDAS system will not permit longer papers to be uploaded.
  2. The decision regarding the acceptance of the papers is at the discretion of the Technical Program Committee. Note that short manuscripts are not considered.
  3. To facilitate the paper’s double-blind peer review process, authors should make efforts to ensure that information about the authors’ identities do not appear anywhere in the text-body of the paper. (for the first submission)
  4. Upon acceptance, at least one of the authors listed in the paper must attend the conference and present the paper according to the schedule of the conference. In the event that the presenter is unable to attend the conference for any reasons, your accepted paper will not be considered for submission of the proceeding to the IEEE Xplore.
  5. At least one of the authors listed on the paper must register for the 2020 - to upload the final manuscript.

Only papers that have been presented at the conference and corrected according to reviewer(s) suggestion will be considered to be included in the final proceedings for the submission to the IEEE Xplore digital library.
