In many of the process industries more than 70 products are sold in the form of powders. A basic understanding of the technology of powders can minimize processing problems and help industrial scientists and engineers to improve existing operations. Indonesia has been known for countries as the country’s rich natural resources. One of the main ingredients that are big enough to import is Zinc powder which reach to 3700 tons per year. Zinc is one of the most effective and economical ingredient for corrosion protection. Another one, Tin or Stannum (Sn) which also one of the superior products from natural minerals ASEAN countries and Indonesia as the second largest tin producing country in the world. Manufacturing downstream products from tin will increase the added value of local commodities. Currently 95f downstream products from some national Industries are exported abroad. This will increase the country's foreign exchange on increasing the added value of local products. In addition, the source of tin in Indonesia makes the potential for products with foreign industries relatively strong. Therefore, powderization technology becomes very important to improve the nation's competitiveness.Scope of Training:Fabrication of non-oxide ceramics powder - Aluminium Nitride
