We are pleased to inform you that we are hosting The 3rd International Seminar on Metallurgy and Materials in conjunction with Science Photography Competition which will be held on 23 - 24 October 2019 in International Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia. This symposium is a part of Indonesian Science Expo (ISE), aimed to bring together researchers, academicians, and industries all around the world to share information and their research results. This event will also become a beneficial media to exchange their innovative ideas and build the research collaboration in the future. ISMM 2019 will cover a wide range of research topics in metallurgy and materials.

====SCIENCE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION====
This Science Photography Competition is organized by Metallurgy and Material Research Center, Indonesian Institute of Science. The call is open to researchers, scientists, students, photographers, and to anyone who wants to show the beauty of science to the world.
The Photography Competition is FREE to enter. The closing date is on September 30, 2019. Images should be submitted electronically by attaching them to the online submission form below!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Participants must be the author of the photos. Any image must not infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, personal or proprietary rights.
Each participant may submit a maximum of five images.
Images must be related to any field in the metallurgy and materials science
Pictures should be aesthetically appealing, and communicate an interesting scientific phenomenon
Images could be but are not limited to research equipment and facilities, microscopy images (optical microscope, electron microscope, scanning probe microscope, and fluorescence microscopes images) and non-photographic media (video-files-generated images, computer-generated images)
Images must include caption max 50 words and extended abstract max 250 words in English
Images should be submitted as JPG
Size of image must be no larger than 25 MB
Resolution of image should be at least 300 dpi
No watermarks, signatures, text, or borders included. Permitted digital adjustments include tone and contrast, cropping, sharpening, noise reduction, HDR. Addition, removal or distortion of significant content is not permitted. Any adjustments must be reported.
A People Choice Award will be selected through a voting process at Indonesian Science Expo
